FAQ
We have answered a load of questions already but if you feel like you still need a question to be answered then please contact us using the button below.
A: This depends on the Bouncy Castle or Inflatable you decide to hire (usually 3ft extra space at the front and back and 1ft either side is enough space). We would be happy to discuss the requirements at any time or if need be we will be happy to come out and check which inflatable will fit, You can view the dimensions of all our Bouncy Castles and Inflatables on the page of the required bouncy castle or inflatable. All sizes are given.
We ask that you ensure we have a 3ft wide access to the site, 4ft for our larger castles. Please ensure the area is free from any sharp objects and excessive mud. An electricity point is required within 50 m. We will be forced to refuse bookings for sites that are unsuitable for bouncy castles e.g. sloping, uneven or dirty gardens. (If this is the case please call us before booking so we can come out and assess your garden to see if it is safe to hire a Bouncy Castle)
We are open to taking your calls between 8am-8pm 7 days a week if you can’t get through or it’s outside these times you can always leave us a message or send a text and we will get back to you.
A: Strictly No. Do not ever re-position the Bouncy Castle or Inflatable.
Between 6 and 8 children of the same age and size, Depending on which Bouncy Castle you decide to hire. full details of how many children are allowed on at any one time can be found on the page of the bouncy castle or inflatable you wish to hire.
Yes, as long as you keep the users well hydrated, and turn the electrics off every few hours to let them cool down for 10-15mins, our bouncy castles are 100% safe to use during hot weather. We send out a weather guide for our customers to follow for all weather conditions.
There must be access to a standard 13 amp electric outlet within 50 metres of where the inflatable is to be sited. If this is not possible, we have a limited number of petrol generators available for hire.
There is no easy answer to this question as it really depends on the type and style of equipment you were looking to hire, where you are based, how specific your needs are, and just how late you have left it! It’s not unusual that we take hires during the run up to a weekend for that weekend. However we plan our routes geographically and lay on staff and vehicles according to the work in our diary so without notice can’t guarantee that we would physically be able to deliver equipment if you’re in an area we aren’t due to be in or if your needs are too specific (i.e. a fixed time hire). We will always do everything within our power in order to satisfy any last minute hires but obviously not to the detriment of our existing commitments. It is always worth contacting us as soon as you can and we will see what we can do to help.
Yes, please be aware that streamers, party poppers, confetti filled balloons, silly string, chewing gum, food and drink MUST all be kept away from the inflatable as these can stain the vinyl. Small animals/pets are not permitted on the inflatable. Shoes, badges, jewellery, or any hard sharp objects, should not be taken onto the inflatable. Spectacles should also be removed.
If the damage is considered by us to be malicious then you will be liable to pay for all repairs/replacement and transport costs associated with having the inflatable repaired. If we lose money for bookings that are already in place for the bouncy castle or inflatable whilst its getting repaired you will be liable for these costs as well. Please look after the equipment as we do not want to have to charge any one.
Yes, we do! We can provide any of the equipment / services on our website for events. You can hire the equipment and if you wish, charge the public to use it. Please contact us should you wish to discuss the options available.
Where events have a higher number of guests such as family fun days or school fetes we can also agree to provide the equipment to you free of charge and charge your guests directly. Ask about our profit share scheme.
Finally if you have an established event and can give us actual attendance figures we may be willing to pay a pitch fee to attend your event.
All you need to worry about when you Hire A Bouncy Castle is providing clear access to the area you want the inflatable installing, either a flat suitable sized grass area or a hall with adequate headroom and access to a power supply within 50m. We will do everything else including delivering the inflatable, installing it and collecting it. We provide all the accessories required including safety crash mats, extension cables and pegs as required.
Absolutely. We try our best to keep our inflatable’s immaculately clean and in mint condition. Each of our castles is inspected and cleaned following every hire using a disinfectant type cleaning solution. We will NEVER deliver and unclean bouncy castle.

Each inflatable has around 6 anchor points. In order to pin the inflatable down safely, we use ground stakes on each anchor point. Under manufacturer guidance, our delivery experts must be able to anchor the inflatable down using each anchor point. Each anchor point has to be anchored down because each anchor point has the equivalent of 163 kg of weight, keeping the inflatable safely in place.
To use ground stakes, the anchor points of the inflatable must be on grass. Should this not be the case, we will have no choice but to walk away, as operating won’t be safe. The deposit paid is non-refundable and is down to the person making the booking to ensure adequate space before booking. Also the size of the bouncy castle or inflatable is clearly written on the website for each inflatable please make sure you measure the area the inflatable is going to make sure it fits.
Adults can use inflatables designed specifically for adult usage, these inflatables that can be used by adults are Cleary written on the page. The majority of our inflatables are for children. As a result, adults can only supervise these.
When a company puts you and your family’s safety first they should be thanked, and alternative plans should be considered. We have found by and large that the met office is a reliable weather guide. On the days leading to a booking, we monitor the Met Office site, looking at the chance of rain, wind speed and most importantly, the wind gust speed. Unfortunately, anything above 24mph makes operating an inflatable highly dangerous. We will never take a risk, and nor should you.
Yes, a discount is available for multiple hires for the same location at the same time. Please contact us on 07849365277 to discuss this.
