Agreement Overview

This website is operated by Humber Events Company. All bookings made through this site are governed by these Terms and Conditions. It is your responsibility as the Hirer to read and understand these terms prior to making a booking. We will confirm acceptance of your booking via email or letter to the contact details you provide.

A responsible adult must supervise the inflatable at all times. These guidelines ensure the safety of all users, and it is the hirer's sole responsibility to ensure they are followed.

Age Separation
Do not mix younger children with older children or adults. Keep user heights similar and ensure adults do not use children's inflatables.

Remove Personal Items
All shoes, badges, peaked hats, and jewelry (large earrings, necklaces) must be removed. Spectacles should also be removed when possible. Do not leave hard objects in entrance/exit areas.

Keep It Clean
No face paints, party poppers, colored streamers, or silly string near the inflatable—these can permanently stain. No food, drinks, or smoking on or near the unit. You will pay full repair or cleaning costs.

Behavior Standards
Do not allow pushing, colliding, fighting, or boisterous behavior that could injure or distress others.

No Climbing
Climbing, hanging, or sitting on walls is dangerous and must not be allowed.

Capacity Limits
Ensure the inflatable is not overcrowded. Limit numbers based on age and size of children using it.

Do Not Move Equipment
Never move the inflatable or any of its accessories under any circumstances.

Health Restrictions
No one with a history of back or neck problems should use the inflatable. No pregnant persons allowed.

Inflation Safety
Do not allow users on the unit during inflation or deflation.

Weather Precautions
In heavy rain, switch off the inflatable. For light showers, keep inflated and wipe down with a towel afterward. Do not use if the jumping area becomes wet.

Electrical Safety
If the extension lead overheats or loses power, switch the blower off at mains, wait a few minutes, then restart. Keep the blower upright with vents clear. Do not plug other devices into our extension leads.

Power Management
Switch the blower off at mains when the bouncy castle is not in use.

Child Safety Zones
Warn children about tie-down points and make the area behind the unit (where the electrical blower is located) off-limits.

Wet Conditions
The bouncy castle should not be used if the jumping area becomes wet. If no shower cover is fitted and rain occurs, cease use immediately.

Equipment Failure
If equipment fails for any reason, ensure all users exit the bouncy castle immediately.

Authorized Personnel Only
No unauthorized person should move the bouncy castle or tamper with electrical equipment.

Return Condition
The inflatable must be returned clean, unsoiled, and undamaged. Additional charges apply for cleaning or damage that renders the unit out of commission.

When equipment is used in accordance with our safety instructions and conditions of hire, users should operate safely without injury. However, the equipment will be in the hirer's possession and control while in use, not under the control of Humber Events Company.

Important: Humber Events Company accepts no liability for injuries sustained or other losses in the absence of negligence by the company or its employees. Liability for injuries or losses rests with the hirer. We strongly recommend hirers have adequate public liability insurance covering their liability arising from equipment use.

Public liability insurance is excluded entirely following any claim or injury related to the use of drugs and/or alcohol. By hiring equipment from us, you accept these terms and full responsibility for loss, damage, breakages, accidents, and liability.

Age Requirement: Hirers must be 18 years or over. Identification will be required if you may not appear the required age.
Space Requirements: It is the hirer's responsibility to check all required dimensions. If equipment will not fit upon arrival, Humber Events reserves the right to retain 100% of hire costs.
Overnight Hire: Subject to secure garden and refundable security deposit. Two forms of identification required. We reserve the right to refuse hire if equipment is at security risk.

All prices are in UK Pounds and include VAT where applicable at the current rate. The hire price will be as quoted on our website when you confirm your order (usually by paying the deposit), subject only to inadvertent technical errors.

If you amend your order, prices charged will reflect the amended items at the time the change is confirmed. Promotions are only available until their stated end date. Delivery charges may apply—check our delivery areas to see if you're subject to additional fees.

Delivery costs vary by area and will be shown when you select your location. We may deliver outside areas listed on our website—please contact us to inquire. Standard delivery hours are 6am–12pm, though custom times can be arranged for venues.

Upon Delivery: The hirer must sign our hire agreement and pay any remaining balance. We will not deliver assets without final payment. Ensure adequate space, accessibility, and a cleared area. You are liable for full hire costs if we cannot deliver due to space, accessibility, or location issues.

If we cannot provide delivery due to adverse weather, vehicle failure, illness, or other factors, we will inform you at the earliest opportunity. In the event of unavailability, we will replace items with the closest alternative and notify you promptly.

Bookings Under £200

Cancellations with 7+ days notice: 50% booking fee retained, balance refunded. Cancellations within 7 days: liable for full hire costs.

Bookings Over £200

Cancellations with 14+ days notice: 50% booking fee retained, balance refunded. Cancellations within 14 days: liable for full hire costs.

Weather Cancellations: If winds above 24mph are forecast, we will test wind speeds on arrival. If the location is deemed unsafe, we will cancel the hire and provide a full refund. Refunds are paid to the original payment method.

Humber Events Company reserves the right to cancel any booking where there is a potential health and safety risk. We operate with common sense regarding weather conditions. Our decision is final. Please note that after equipment installation, weather conditions may make equipment unsuitable for use.
