Everything you need to know about hiring bouncy castles from Humber Events Company. Planning a party should be easy and fun!

Space requirements vary by inflatable, but as a general rule, you'll need approximately 3ft of clearance at the front and back, plus 1ft on either side. All our product pages list exact dimensions to help you plan. If you're unsure whether a particular bouncy castle will fit, we're happy to visit your location for a free site assessment. Simply give us a call and we'll ensure you choose the perfect size for your space!

Please ensure we have at least 3ft wide access to the site (4ft for larger castles). The area should be free from sharp objects and excessive mud, with an electricity point within 50 metres. We may need to refuse bookings for unsuitable sites such as sloping, uneven, or dirty gardens for safety reasons. If you're unsure about your garden's suitability, please call us before booking and we'll happily come out to assess it free of charge.

Strictly no. Please do not ever attempt to re-position the bouncy castle or inflatable once it has been set up. This is for safety reasons and any unauthorised movement could cause damage or create dangerous conditions.

This depends on which bouncy castle you hire. Full details of maximum capacity can be found on each product page. We provide this information clearly to ensure safe and enjoyable use for all children.

Yes! As long as you keep users well hydrated and turn off the electrics every few hours to let the equipment cool down for 10-15 minutes, our bouncy castles are 100% safe to use during hot weather. We send out a comprehensive weather guide for all our customers to follow.

Yes, there must be access to a standard 13 amp electric outlet within 50 metres of where the inflatable will be sited. If this isn't possible, we have a limited number of petrol generators available for hire - just let us know when booking.

It really depends on the equipment you need, your location, and how specific your requirements are. We often take bookings during the week for that same weekend! However, we plan routes geographically, so last-minute availability depends on whether we're already delivering in your area. We'll always do our best to help, so it's worth contacting us as soon as possible to see what we can do.

Yes, please keep streamers, party poppers, confetti-filled balloons, silly string, chewing gum, food and drink away from the inflatable as these can stain the vinyl. Pets are not permitted on the inflatable. Users should remove shoes, badges, jewellery, spectacles, and any hard or sharp objects before use.

If damage is considered malicious, you will be liable for all repair/replacement costs, transport costs, and any lost bookings while the equipment is being repaired. We really don't want to charge anyone, so please look after the equipment and follow our safety guidelines.

Yes, we do! We can provide any equipment or services from our website for events - you can hire the equipment and charge the public if you wish. For larger events like family fun days or school fetes, we can provide equipment free of charge and operate a profit share scheme where we charge guests directly. For established events with proven attendance figures, we may even pay a pitch fee to attend. Contact us to discuss your options!

All you need is clear access to your chosen area, either a flat grass area or hall with adequate headroom, and access to a power supply within 50 metres. We handle everything else - delivery, installation, collection, and all accessories including safety crash mats, extension cables, and pegs.

We take great pride in keeping our inflatables immaculately clean and in mint condition. Each castle is thoroughly inspected and cleaned using a disinfectant solution after every hire. We will NEVER deliver an unclean bouncy castle.

Humber Events Company accepts no liability for any accidents, loss or damage when using our equipment. By hiring from us, you accept full responsibility and liability for all users during the hire period as part of our terms and conditions.

If the bouncy castle doesn't fit when we arrive, you will still be required to pay the full hire price. This is why we encourage customers to check dimensions carefully or arrange a free site visit if you're unsure about space.

Adults can only use inflatables specifically designed for adult usage - these are clearly marked on our product pages. The majority of our inflatables are designed for children only, where adults should supervise but not participate.

When a company puts your family's safety first, they should be thanked. We monitor Met Office forecasts carefully, checking wind speed and crucially, wind gust speeds. Anything above 24mph makes operating inflatables highly dangerous. We will never take risks with safety, and nor should you. Alternative arrangements should be considered in these conditions.

Yes! We offer discounts for multiple hires at the same location and time. Please call us on 01482 230477 to discuss your requirements and we'll be happy to work out a great deal for you.

Ideally, we deliver early in the morning so you get a full day's hire. We need to complete all collections before dark as it's difficult to pack away equipment without proper light. When you book, we'll check your party times and discuss collection to ensure it fits around your arrangements perfectly.
