Venue approval guide
Local venues with evidence of cold-spark use
The venues below have public evidence of previous cold-spark use or professional suppliers advertising cold-spark services there. That is helpful, but it is not blanket permission for every room or every booking.

Always check first: venue rules change, and permission may depend on the function room, ceiling height, flooring, fire-alarm system, placement and supplier documents. We will only operate after approval. Lazaat’s current published wedding information says it does not permit indoor cold sparks or indoor fireworks, so it is not listed as an approved venue.

Cold sparks FAQ
What couples and venues ask us
How much is cold sparks hire in Hull?
Our packages start at £149 for two machines and one agreed photo, entrance or cake-cutting moment. Four machines for a wedding first dance cost £225. Our four-machine cold sparks and low-fog package is £399. Delivery outside our normal local area may be additional.
Are cold spark machines allowed indoors?
Many venues consider professionally operated cold spark machines, but they are not automatically allowed indoors. Written venue approval is required and suitability depends on the room, safe distances, ceiling height, flooring, alarm system and the venue’s own rules.
Will cold sparks set off a fire alarm?
Cold spark machines differ from traditional pyrotechnics, but no supplier should promise that an effect can never activate a particular detection system. The venue must approve the effect and decide whether its alarm arrangements and fire procedures are suitable.
Do you stay and operate the machines?
Yes. We deliver, position, test and operate the cold spark machines for the agreed moment, then remove them. They are not supplied as an unattended drop-off hire.
Can you time sparks to our first-dance song?
Yes. Tell us the best points in your track, or let us coordinate the bursts around the entrance, chorus or finale. We keep the effect controlled so it looks intentional in photographs and video.
Can we combine cold sparks with low fog and a dance floor?
Yes. Our £725 Complete First Dance package includes a 16ft white LED starlight dance floor, low-lying fog and four cold spark machines. Every effect remains subject to venue approval and suitable conditions.
What happens if our venue refuses permission?
Please check before booking. If permission is uncertain, give us the venue and room details so the requirements can be discussed. We will not operate against venue instructions; our other first-dance effects may offer a suitable alternative.
