- Send it before the event so we can prepare it. We check the greeting during setup. If you need help or want to record it at setup, arrange this with us beforehand.

Where should the telephone box go?
It suits many venues, provided the ceiling height, floor space and delivery route are suitable. Get your venue’s permission before booking, and choose somewhere guests will notice it without having to shout over the music.
These are estimates, not a measured footprint. Extra room is needed for depth, the open door, instructions and guests. The actual setup dimensions and access must be confirmed before booking if your space is restricted. Please do not assume it will fit from a photograph.
- A quieter position near the reception area or guest seating works well
- Keep it away from DJ speakers and the busiest part of the dance floor
- Use a flat, firm, dry floor with room for the door to open
- Keep entrances, fire exits and accessible routes clear
- Provide access to a standard 13A mains socket for the neon; we confirm power arrangements
- Indoor use is preferred; sheltered outdoor or marquee use must be agreed beforehand

Whether your reception is in a hotel, function room or another approved event space, the important details are the room layout, delivery access, setup arrival and collection time. Give the full venue address when booking.
Please provide your venue contact and any parking or access instructions when booking so we can arrange delivery and collection smoothly. The displayed hire price includes delivery, setup, takedown, collection and your audio files after the event.

Make sure we have the correct email address for the recordings. Download and save your audio files when you receive them. This is self-service hire; an attendant does not stay for the full day.
Full-day hire covers your agreed booking period. Overnight hire or a later collection needs to be arranged separately.

The telephone box is £295 for full-day hire including delivery, setup, takedown, collection and audio files after the event: £29.50 deposit and £265.50 remaining balance. The deposit forms part of the price. Pay the remaining balance before use, as arranged on your booking.
Read the full hire terms before paying. A date is secured once the required deposit is received and the booking is confirmed. Date changes and venue changes need our written agreement and depend on availability and suitable access.

Can I book without sending an enquiry?
Yes. The telephone box booking buttons take you to our rental booking form. Choose your date, setup arrival and collection times, select the 10% deposit option, accept the terms and complete checkout. Contact us first only if access, venue permission or an unusual arrangement needs checking.
What is included in the £295 Hull price?
The £295 full-day price includes the white telephone box, audio guest book, your greeting, instructions, delivery, setup, takedown and collection. The optional neon is free. All audio files are transferred digitally to the hirer within one week after the event. Everything listed is included in the hire price.
How much do I pay when booking?
The 10% deposit on the £295 telephone box is £29.50, leaving £265.50. Select the deposit option on the booking page and follow checkout. The £249 pedestal has a £24.90 deposit and £224.10 balance, but currently needs a separate booking request.
How much room does the telephone box need?
Height is approximately 7ft (2.13m). Use about 4ft (1.2m) as an estimated width allowance, then allow extra for depth, the open door, instructions and guests. These are estimates, not confirmed setup measurements. Check ceiling height, doorways and delivery access, and ask us to confirm dimensions before booking a restricted space.
Do you set it up, and how long does it take?
We deliver, set up, take down and collect — all included in the price. Allow around 45 minutes with the setup area clear and access ready. The start time entered on the booking page is our arrival to begin setup, rather than the time guests start using it. An attendant does not stay for the day.
Can we use our own welcome message?
Yes. Record a short voice memo in a quiet room and email the audio file before your event with your name, order number and event date. Welcome your guests, ask them to say their name and tell them to speak after the tone. We prepare the greeting and check it during setup.
Is the neon really free?
Yes. The optional neon is included at no extra cost with the £295 telephone box. After booking, tell us whether you want it and where the nearest standard mains socket is. We confirm the power arrangements for your venue.
When and how do we receive our recordings?
We transfer all saved audio files digitally to the hirer within one week after the event. Give us your correct email address and download the files when you receive them so you have your own copy to keep.
Does it take photos or print pictures?
This package records audio messages. Guests can take their own photographs of the display, but automatic photos, printed pictures and video recording are not included in this hire.
Can it go outside or in a marquee?
Indoor use is preferred. Any sheltered outdoor or marquee setup must be agreed before booking and kept dry, stable and protected. Tell us about the location and an indoor backup. Check the full hire terms if weather could affect your event.
What if the venue refuses it or our plans change?
Ask for venue approval before booking and check space and access. If plans change, notify us in writing as soon as possible. Changes need our agreement, and cancellations follow your confirmed booking terms and the linked cancellation policy.
